Qgiv’s Exporting suite has been enhanced to accommodate new standards and industry compliant programs. The Qgiv Export Suite now includes an automatic Federal Election Commission (FEC) compliant export format for instant uploads to FECFile and the FEC Website. This is typically used for political campaigns and political organizations such as PACs and Committees. Qgiv also has new upgrades for automatic exports to Peachtree and QuickBooks accounting programs. Qgiv has also enhanced the CSV (Excel) exporting to allow more customization and custom export creation.

With significantly lower per-transaction percentages, this new option reduces costs for organizations who take large dollar transactions less frequently.

• June 2007 - Qgiv joins the PCI Standards Council

Qgiv continues to support efforts by the PCI Security Standards Council to bring security and compliance to all providers of online donations. As of June, 2007, Qgiv has joined the PCI Standards Council as a participating member. Qgiv continues to be a Level 1 PCI Certified Payment Gateway, maintaining the highest level of security offered by the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard.
To become PCI compliant a company must complete 12 points of compliance and the system must go through quarterly scans and yearly audits. Annual on-site audits by independent third-pary assessors are the highest level of compliance with the PCI-DSS.
Qgiv has taken online donation processing security one step further by being only online donation provider for tax-exempt and non-profit organizations to become a participating council member. Benefits to council membership include the ability to nominate and vote for representatives to sit on the Board of Advisors, comment on drafts of all revisions to the DSS specifications and on any new specifications before they are published, attend the annual Standards Community Meeting and recommend new initiatives for consideration to the council.
