What if I have an existing merchant account?
First, make sure the merchant account is an eCommerce Merchant account. If you have been processing transactions online, you have the appropriate merchant account. If you have only been able to take in-person transactions you will need to setup a merchant account through Qgiv.
If you do have a current merchant account through Authorize.net, BluePay, FirstData, or Chase Paymentech we will probably be able to integrate our services and your pre-existing setup. If not, you can setup an Authorize.net or BluePay gateway so we can integrate with your merchant. We can also setup a brand new ecommerce merchant account.
If you do have an eCommerce Merchant account that needs to go through Authorize.net we can compare the pricing of setting up that account and setting up a new eCommerce Merchant account through Qgiv.

How do you integrate with our current website?
Qgiv's site engineers copy your site's navigation, theme and wording and "wrap" it around our innovative donation forms. The resulting page contains a user-friendly donation form that looks and feels exactly like your website. We host your branded page on our secure servers so donors can complete transactions worry-free and in accordance with Level 1 PCI Security Standards.

What is a pledge and how does it compare to a donation?
Donations and pledges are similar in theory but mean slightly different things to your organization. On the Qgiv’s platform, organizations set up pledges to fund certain products during a defined time period. Recurring donations, on the other hand, are gifts that are given regularly and can be used anywhere in the organization.

Do I have to sign a contract with Qgiv?
You’ll never be forced into a contract when you use Qgiv: our services are all billed month-to-month. We are so confident in our services that we do not feel the need to rely on contracts or early termination fees. We can even set up a month-to-month eCommerce Merchant account! If you are unhappy with Qgiv you can cancel our services at any time without cancellation fees.
