Development staff had to manually process cash and check donations due to their supporters being uncomfortable with the online giving tools used during their event. Because their donors had difficulty making gifts, pledges went unfulfilled and fundraising goals were missed. Recognizing that this negatively impacted the families they serve, Alpha Grand Rapids sought more robust tools. They asked their Bloomerang representative for a recommendation and they were referred to Qgiv.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-color\" style=\"color:#f06133\">HOW WE HELPED<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Qgiv offered Alpha Grand Rapids a variety of user-friendly online fundraising tools such as the peer-to-peer platform and text fundraising. Alpha Grand Rapids streamlined their online donation process and can even accept donations and pledges via text message. Because Qgiv\u2019s tools are customizable, Alpha Grand Rapids was able to create event-specific branding to increase community awareness of their Walk for Life fundraiser.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Thanks to their designated Customer Success Manager, Alpha Grand Rapids was able to add new elements to their event that delighted donors and increased funds raised.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-color\" style=\"color:#f06133\">RESULTS<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Alpha Grand Rapids\u2019 Walk for Life event raised more than $60,000. They had set a fundraising goal of $50,000. This means they reached 122% of their goal! Alpha Grand Rapids was able to steadily increase community awareness of their event due to the event-specific branding.
