The best part is, you don\u2019t have to be the next Spielberg to use video to increase your campaign\u2019s success.<\/p>\n<p>One of our clients, The Camphill School, made a great video and embedded it on their Giving Tuesday donation page. The video shows donors what they support when they give to The Camphill School. The school is a private boarding and day school for students ages 4 through 21 with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Their video shows the true benefactors of donations to their organization: all the children and young adults who live and learn at their school.<\/p>\n<p>The school director speaks on camera about the programs offered, but what draws your attention is watching the students learn and grow on camera. Seeing them take part in the academic, job training, and social activities clearly illustrates why this school is worth supporting.<\/p>\n<p>While the Camphill School\u2019s video is of exceptional quality, your organization can emulate their success on a shoestring budget. Many cell phones can take crystal clear pictures. If you have a DSLR camera that\u2019s able to shoot high quality video, that\u2019s even better.<\/p>\n<p>Pro Tip: If you need to record on a smart phone, be sure to hold your phone horizontally for the best video quality.<\/p>\n<p>What\u2019s most important in your video is that you\u2019re highlighting why donors need to give. Make your case for support something meaningful to your audience. Do you run an animal shelter? Shoot videos of happy animals you\u2019re helping find forever homes.
