Since then, the mission has evolved into a comprehensive solution aimed at alleviating poverty and fighting inequality through access to quality education. CISE accomplishes this through excellent academics, the formation of values for life, and a safe, structured, and supportive environment in which all are welcome.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">What They Did<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Catholic Inner-city Schools Education Fund hosted a successful fundraising event, then used their event page to thank those who contributed to their fundraiser.<\/p>\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\">\n<figure class=\"aligncenter size-large\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.qgiv.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/03\/CISE-Event-Thank-You-Message.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" width=\"351\" height=\"263\" src=\"https:\/\/www.qgiv.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/03\/CISE-Event-Thank-You-Message.jpg\" alt=\"CISE posted a post-event message thanking donors for helping them exceed their goal. Their message included an explanation for why these crucial funds were needed, their Summer School Program.\" class=\"wp-image-23720\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.qgiv.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/03\/CISE-Event-Thank-You-Message.jpg 351w, https:\/\/www.qgiv.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/03\/CISE-Event-Thank-You-Message-300x225.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 351px) 100vw, 351px\" \/><\/a><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n<p>CISE recognized that their supporters want updates about how the event went, the total that was raised, and how their organization plans to use that funding. As part of their <a href=\"https:\/\/www.qgiv.com\/blog\/whats-your-post-event-communication-strategy\/\">post-event communication plan<\/a>, CISE updated their peer-to-peer event page thanking donors and providing an update rather than taking the page down after the event ended. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>By leaving the page up for future viewing, even temporarily, they&#8217;ve created another channel for participants and supporters to be thanked and kept informed about their plans after the event.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">What You Can Do<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>If you&#8217;re hosting a fundraising event, rather than take your page down after the event ends, consider leaving it up for a couple weeks after the event. Let them know that their faith in your nonprofit&#8217;s ability to get the job done isn&#8217;t misplaced. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Instead, adding another channel for post-event follow-up helps ensure those interested in learning about the results of the event can access that information in a transparent way.
