This encouraged friendly competition among supporters so that they could make it onto the leaderboard.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The top fundraiser raised more than $3,500 for their cause. Overall, the nonprofit was able to surpass their fundraising goal, raising $27,305.50. Encourage your supporters to raise funds on your behalf so that you\u2019re casting a wider net for donations. Include a fundraising leaderboard to give your top donors public recognition for their efforts. Include a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.qgiv.com\/blog\/why-fundraising-thermometer-works\/\">fundraising thermometer<\/a> with a set fundraising goal so you and your supporters can track your progress toward your goal.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>You can make it free to register to fundraise for your nonprofit or charge a small fee as a donation to your organization to sign up. Either way, support your supporters\u2019 fundraising efforts once they\u2019ve signed up. You could even incentivize fundraising by offering branded merchandise when supporters have reached a certain amount in donations.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The nice thing about a peer-to-peer event page is that donors can give without registering. Direct your donors to give on your Giving Tuesday peer-to-peer event page. They can choose to give in support of someone fundraising on your behalf or to support the event itself.
