Transparency in pricing is a big deal! No one wants to sign up for a service and suddenly find out there are hidden fees that weren’t publicly listed (or that were buried under “free” or “0%” language) on a company’s website.

At Qgiv, we’re up-front and transparent about our pricing and fees. We don’t estimate our fees or list our pricing based on the assumption that your donors will cover processing costs. The success of your organization is our main priority, so we want you to know exactly what you’re getting.

And you know what’s really great? You can add or remove fundraising packages whenever you need them (You’re busy, and remembering to cancel a long-term contract isn’t something you should have to do!). In the charts below, we’ve combined Qgiv’s processing fee and merchant processing fee, so you have a clear picture of the total fee you’re charged per transaction.

First, let’s talk about what each fee means and then we’ll look at what each package costs and the associated fees.

Fees Terminology

  • Processing Fees
    • The processing fee is the total fee charged for merchant processing fees and Qgiv’s processing when a transaction is made through a form. Processing fee = merchant processing fee + Qgiv processing fee. 
  • Merchant processing fees
    • Qgiv works with credit card processing services on behalf of your organization. These fees are called the “merchant processing fees” The merchant processing fee is a percentage of the total donation plus a flat dollar amount per donation. For example, Qgiv works with a merchant processor called Worldpay that charges 2% + $0.30 per transaction. 
  • Qgiv Monthly or Quarterly fee 
    • The ongoing cost to your organization to use Qgiv services paid on a monthly or quarterly basis.  
  • Platform fee
    • The ongoing cost to your organization to use Qgiv services. 
  • Setup fee
    • How much it costs your organization to start your service with Qgiv. 
  • American Express fee
    • American Express transactions have an additional 1%. 
  • eCheck fee
    • An eCheck is the fee if a donor wants to give directly from their bank account instead of through a credit card. The eCheck fee is Qgiv’s processing fee of 1.95% and a $0.50 per transaction cost for merchant processing. 
  • Support fee
    • Support fees are a charge to your organization for  support services.

At Qgiv, there’s no fee for support. Your organization will have a dedicated onboarding specialist to help you get set up with Qgiv and to train you and other staff members. After training, you’ll have the Qgiv team by your side to help you with anything you need. You’ll have free access to live support via phone, email, or chat. Starter


Qgiv’s Starter package is the base plan for all Qgiv accounts and includes unlimited donation forms and event forms. There are no setup, support, or ongoing fees whatsoever. This package is ideal for nonprofits who are just getting started with fundraising online.

Giving Essentials 


Qgiv’s Giving Essentials package includes everything in the Starter package plus advanced statistics, integrations with CRMs, email and accounting tools, and Zapier, and FundHub aggregated thermometers. There is no setup or support fee. Processing, PayPal, and eCheck fees do not change. There’s an ongoing fee of $25/month (if paid monthly) or $60/quarter (if paid quarterly).

Processing, PayPal, and eCheck fees do not change. There’s an ongoing fee of $129/month (if paid monthly) or $297/quarter (if paid quarterly).

Qgiv’s Peer-to-Peer package includes everything in the Starter plus unlimited peer-to-peer fundraising events. There are no setup or support fees. Processing, PayPal, and eCheck fees increase by 1%, and there’s an ongoing fee of $229/month (if paid monthly) or $597/quarter (if paid quarterly).

Auctions


Qgiv’s Auctions package includes everything in the Starter plus unlimited auction events. Processing, PayPal, and eCheck fees do not change. There’s an ongoing fee of $229/month (if paid monthly) or $597/quarter (if paid quarterly). There’s only a setup fee if your organization is looking to run an auction in less than 30 days from the date of signup. There’s no fee for support, unless you require onsite support at your event.

Bill-to-Carrier


The Bill-to-Carrier package is a standalone package that doesn’t include any of the other packages listed. It provides access to bill-to-carrier tools through the Mobile Giving Foundation. There is a one-time application fee of $350, and applications require approval by the Mobile Giving Foundation. There’s an annual fee of $1,788 for your first keyword (add $1,188 for additional keywords). The processing fee changes to $0.50 per transaction (eCheck is not available for this option).

Impact


Impact is a custom package tailored to your organizational needs. This package can include the Starter, Giving Essentials, Text Fundraising, Peer-to-Peer, and Auctions packages and discounted processing/transaction fees with an annual or multi-year agreement. There’s no setup fee. Processing, PayPal, and eCheck fees are custom based on your needs. This package is ideal for nonprofits processing more than $350,000 in online donations and event transactions annually.
